Please join us in welcoming Ms. Eleanor McCree as the new Principal of CICS Ralph Ellison Academy.
Ms. McCree brings a wealth of experience as an educator and school leader, with a proven track record of strengthening instruction, supporting teachers, and creating learning environments where all students can thrive. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to ensuring that every student has access to the opportunities, support, and preparation needed to pursue their post-secondary goals with confidence.
Her leadership experience spans the classroom, instructional coaching, and school administration, where she has successfully led efforts to improve student outcomes, strengthen school culture, and develop teacher leadership. She believes that strong schools are built through meaningful partnerships among students, families, and staff, and she is eager to collaborate with the Ralph Ellison community to build upon the strong foundation already in place.
As a lifelong learner herself, Ms. McCree holds advanced degrees in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, and Biotechnology & Chemical Science. Her commitment to academic excellence, equity, and student success aligns closely with the mission and values of Meridian Charter Schools.
In her own words, “Our time is now.” That message reflects the excitement and optimism she brings to this new role. Ms. McCree is committed to ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. She looks forward to celebrating student achievements, strengthening family partnerships, and continuing to grow a school culture rooted in excellence, opportunity, and community.
